Jimmy Jang Singer/Songwriter was originally from Taiwan, a small island country in the Pacific Ocean. As the little drummer at his dinner table he played chopsticks, bowls, dishes and glasses to the background music from the neighbor's houses. At age ten he joined the matching band at his school and ever since he's always been able to pick which songs will become popular played on radio.
In my life as a former merchant marine officer, business owner (import & Export), and manufacturer, this allowed me to travel to 64 countries. I had so many opportunities to associate with all kinds of people, I gained and understanding of their ways of living, their cultures, foods, likes or dislikes and their expressions through their music.
After moving to the United States, I had the opportunity to meet with some of my good friends who happen to be professional musicians and producers and that opened up the door to music creation for me. It's all started with a dream I had. In this particular dream I heard music playing with images being created. It was so clear that after I awake that muice stayed in my head.
I met a lovely lady and by knowing her I learned a lot of Native American histories and stories and their ways of life. those facts of history happened in early America. it reflects the music in some of my songs; the sounds of Flutes, the Drums, this was the inspiration for one of my songs titled: "Fly High For Freedom".
Most of my inspirations for the songs were created by the images appearing in my mind or in dreams or during meditation. I also learned music actually is Matrix! An Energy force! If you use it right, it can heal not only our body but potentially to our planet!
My passion is to send out the messages of LOVE, to all living beings if I can.
I believed every single life has a soul.
True souls have no color, no culture, no race, or religion. We are all one. Suffering is created by hatred and ignorance. The cure is LOVE! All external reality is a reflection of your mind. Greed will cause you to step on others for egocentric gains. QUOTES from Jimmy Jang
